The City of Pittsburgh is committed to accommodating as many demonstrations as is logistically possible while ensuring a safe and enjoyable event for residents and visitors.
The City has identified two Public Access Areas which are within sight and sound of the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. The areas are located at the Buncher parking lot in the Strip District and at designated areas of the North Shore river walk trail.

Allegheny Landing Park is situated between the Roberto Clemente (6th St.) and Andy Warhol (7th St.) Bridges. The Park can be accessed via a path in the northwest corner of the Park from Federal Street (1) and from the Riverwalk in the southeast corner of the Park (2).
The Buncher lot will be available around-the-clock beginning at 6 a.m., Wed., Sept. 23 to 11:59 p.m., Sat., Sept. 26. The identified river walk areas will be available from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. only on Sept. 23-Sept. 26.
The areas will be set up by the City and security will be provided to ensure that all members of the public can safely witness the international event. There will be no port-a-john facilities provided.
